Every roll of Cotton Drill Fabric (Heavy 3/1 Warp-Faced Twill) undergoes mandatory inspection under ASTM D5430 4-Point System in our Erode QA facility. Pre-shrunk residual shrinkage governed under 2.5%, color fastness ISO Grade 4+. Global port export via FOB Tuticorin & FOB Chennai.
Cotton drill is a specialized heavy 3/1 warp-faced twill where three warp threads cross over every single weft thread at a steep diagonal angle. This concentrates heavy ringspun yarns on the face of the fabric, giving it much greater abrasion resistance than a balanced 2/1 or 2/2 twill.
We produce cotton drill in 240 GSM (light uniform grade), 280 GSM (standard workwear), 320 GSM (heavy cargo trousers), and 380 GSM (heavy industrial boilersuits).
Yes. Our drill fabrics are dyed with high-grade vat and reactive dyestuffs with an ISO Grade 4+ rating, engineered to resist fading through 50+ high-temperature commercial laundry cycles.
